More assignments and work from my Comic Book Class.

My notes for Chapter 2 of "Comic Books 101."

For a warm-up we did something called the 4 C's. There were three parameters our characters had to meet. They must be able to fly. They must like or use fish in some way. Must have a triangle in the design somehow. This is what I came up with.
We drew 15 characters in 30 minutes to work on character development. Fun, but difficult towards the end.

Notes and impressions from a really cool book and fast read, "American Born Chinese" by Gene Luen Yang.
I cracked up at Buddy and the banana! Too funny!
ReplyDeleteBuddy is my dad's cat and it gags anytime it smells a banana. It's hilarious! Luckily it doesn't recognize what a banana looks like so we let him smell one often and laugh our heads off. Well, not a lot...I don't think it's a lot anyway...
